‘Here Amelia’ came out of the blue after months of musical struggle and emptiness.
It’s a project featuring myself on music and Alessandra Trevisan on vocals, effects, and lyrics.
The lyrics work as poetry. Pared-down syntax, elliptical movement, images turning visionary and faintly metaphysical.
The voice works on the border between singing and speech, and the word is never melodic filler. The grammar fractures at chosen points, sentences stay suspended, meaning arrives by accumulation and by subtraction.
Breath comes back, and deep water, stillness, healing, whatever gets left behind.
Stay tuned!
