Working The Heap by Nick Brengle

Working The Heap is an experimental film produced in a series with artist Marie Emerson.

“Choice C” was the first installment which was intended for viewing in a photography exhibition. Working The Heap Described by Emerson is, “The yin side of life, being feminine, emotional, and although that is great, there is another side of life too, the yang. The yang, being masculine, aggression, intensity. Working the Heap let me cathartically work with my yang. To channel my anger in a healthy way, therapeutically through art. The idea of blending a cult-like horror film with spoken word concerning agriculture, creates an environment of creation, destruction of that creation, and finally the re-birth of something evolved, using all history and complexities of life.

The background music is my ambient tune ‘Paul is Stretched’
